On-device processing
BeachGuard processes motion on this iPhone during an active Guard Mode session. Raw motion samples are kept only in memory and discarded when the session ends.
Permissions never requested

BeachGuard asks only for motion, which it uses while a session is running, and optionally notifications, so it can tell you if a session ended because the app stopped being available.
No third parties
BeachGuard has no account system, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, cloud event log, or remote-control service.
Trusted Person Code
The four-digit BeachGuard code is stored in the device-only Keychain and is never uploaded. It is separate from the iPhone passcode. You can remove it from Settings after device-owner authentication.
